The Sales Director is an individual seller responsible for prospecting and closing sales in GumGum’s Market Leading Advertising platform. Reporting to the Group Sales Director, East Coast, this role is responsible for leading and developing key relationships in the allocated region to drive real value for our clients through GumGum products.

Sales Directors have a deep knowledge of the online media landscape, the advertising community and have more than 5 years of proven media sales experience. The Sales Director is a self motivated leader who can work with internal teams and are committed to achieving and exceeding sales goals while growing GumGum’s products in their allocated region.

Note: This position offers the opportunity for remote work or 'work from home' as there isn't a nearby office. However, GumGum is excited to only consider applicants residing in the local area listed in the job description for business needs including some or all of the following: client interaction, team interaction, timezone, etc.

What You'll Achieve

  • Drive Revenue: Manage a $5M+ book of business in New England, partnering with agencies and brands.
  • Sales Activities: Identify and qualify leads, engage in high-volume sales activities, and generate out-of-the-box solutions.
  • Upsell Clients: Provide market insights and boost sales from key brands and agencies.
  • Relationship Building: Develop deep connections with clients and offer tailored solutions.
  • Client Feedback: Relay insights to improve client service.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation of proposals.
  • Strategic Sales: Support strategic sales opportunities.

Skills You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's in Media, Marketing, or Advertising.
  • 5+ years in digital ad sales with a $5M+ book of business.
  • Proven sales track record with strong brand and agency contacts.
  • Programmatic experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strategic relationship-building abilities.
  • Organized with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical with a solid understanding of business drivers.
  • Motivated, proactive, and passionate about GumGum.
  • Self-starter, outgoing, and adaptable.
  • Creative thinker and team player.

What We Offer

At GumGum, competitive base pay is a part of a total rewards package which also includes benefits, an emphasis on recognition, development, and wellness. The reasonable estimated base pay range for this role is from $124,000 to $147,000 annually.

The actual amount may be higher or lower. Individual compensation will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant qualifications, work location, and labor market conditions.

The total rewards package offered also includes an employer-matched 401(k) retirement plan, and depending on the role, participation in a bonus, commission, or stock incentive program.
