The Senior Account Executive role is an individual contributor responsible for prospecting and closing sales in GumGum’s Market-Leading Contextual Advertising platform. Reporting to the VP, Sales in Toronto, this role is responsible for developing key relationships within large and mid-size agencies with occasional managerial guidance on client calls. We require this role to work relatively autonomously while being supported by a cross-functional pre-sales team.

Senior Account Executives have experience and deep knowledge of the online media landscape, the advertising community and have at least 3+ years of digital media experience. The Senior Account Executive uses existing processes to solve a variety of challenging problems to deliver for clients. The role is required to apply independent judgment and discretion to select appropriate options from GumGum’s defined and proven products.

Note: This position offers the opportunity for remote work or 'work from home' as there isn't a nearby office. However, GumGum is excited to only consider applicants residing in the local area listed in the job description for business needs including some or all of the following: client interaction, team interaction, timezone, etc.

What You'll Achieve

  • Drive Revenue: Manage a $3.5M book of business in Canada, driving new and renewal revenue.
  • Upsell Clients: Provide insights on display and video offerings to boost sales from key brands and agencies.
  • Sales Activities: Engage in high-volume sales activities including cold calls, presentations, RFPs, and creative solutions.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify marketing-driven opportunities.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong client relationships for tailored solutions.
  • Client Feedback: Relay valuable insights to the product team.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with internal teams for smooth proposal implementation.

Skills You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3-4 years in digital ad sales managing a $3.5M+ book of business.
  • Proven sales track record with strong brand and agency contacts.
  • Programmatic experience preferred.
  • Strategic relationships across multiple holding companies.
