About the Role:

Pacaso is seeking a customer-obsessed lifecycle marketer to build, coordinate, and manage ongoing optimization of manual and automated marketing campaigns. The Lifecycle Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing campaigns aimed at increasing lead conversion and down funnel engagement across a multi-channel platform. This individual should be confident in their skills to identify opportunities and optimize existing programs as well as be innovative regarding the creation of new campaign opportunities. Program success is driven by increasing engagement by delivering highly relevant messages across the customer journey.

The Lifecycle Marketing Specialist will work closely with our product, revenue, and content teams to conceptualize and execute the creation of notifications across email, push, and SMS. This individual will be successful if they understand the customer journey, pain points, and if they can discover the best content to deliver to the customer at the right time. The optimal candidate is an innovative self-starter and has an appetite for long term program development.

What You'll Do:

  • Work with cross functional partners (revenue, product) to improve the customer journey by identifying gaps in our owner notification experience.
  • Build new campaigns designed to proactively address key moments to maximize lead conversion and down funnel engagement.
  • Execute scalable, personalized campaigns with long term data and product considerations in mind.
  • Ensure all assets and requirements are effectively scoped and communicated out to partnering teams, and manage those items on the respective teams’ backlog.
  • Own email production and QA processes to ensure notifications are accurate and deployed on time.
  • Identify target audiences and utilize ESP and backend data systems to maintain strategic segmentation and targeting best practices.
  • Maintain and analyze weekly and monthly reports and identify opportunities for campaign optimization.
  • Optimize notifications for both desktop, tablet and mobile devices (HTML based email templates).
  • Monitor and maintain email deliverability best practices and file clean-up (unsubscribes, inactive bounces, etc.)

About You:

  • You have 3+ years of proven experience in email marketing campaign management and campaign optimization.
  • Have a proven record of assessing the customer journey to identify gaps in the user experience.
  • Experience creating scalable automated campaigns in partnership with product teams.
  • Experience partnering with data and product teams to build backend data pipelines through API or otherwise, and experience providing tech requirements to do so.
  • Functional knowledge of HTML/CSS required.
  • You have demonstrated a fundamental knowledge of email and notification best practices.
  • Experience with Push and SMS campaigns
  • High attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple, high priority initiatives, and prioritize appropriately.
