We offer an incredible, full-stack esport platform—game integrations, team-building tools, leagues, tournaments, and schedules—and our software products tie everything together into a cohesive experience.
We're seeking a passionate and results-oriented Edtech Sales Lead to join our growing team. In this unique role, you'll wear two hats: leading a team of Account Executives (AEs) dedicated to expanding PlayVS' reach within schools and owning your own territory, actively contributing to quota attainment through your own sales efforts.
Here's What You'll Get To Do:
* Lead and mentor a team of AEs: Recruit, onboard, and develop your team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment where everyone thrives. Coach and support them to achieve their individual goals, driving overall team success.
* Own your territory: Be responsible for acquiring new schools and districts within your assigned region, exceeding assigned quota targets. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, understand their needs, and present compelling solutions.
* Be a hands-on player: Actively contribute to sales by prospecting, pitching, and closing deals yourself. Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor landscape to sharpen your competitive edge.
* Champion esports in education: Advocate for the value of esports in schools, showcasing its positive impact on student engagement, teamwork, and academic achievement.
* Collaborate cross-functionally: Work cross-functionally with our Sales Development, Customer Success, Sponsorships, Support Operations, and Marketing teams to improve customer satisfaction and grow esports across school districts. Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all product areas.
Here's What We're Looking For:
* 1+ years of sales lead or management experience with a proven track record of success.
* A passion for education and a deep understanding of the K-12 landscape.
* Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
* The ability to motivate and inspire others, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* A competitive spirit and a drive to achieve ambitious goals.
* Ability to leverage our CRM to track sales activity and scope out impactful sales strategies.
Not Required, But It’d Be Nice If You Had:
* Experience with the sales tools we use: Outreach, Salesforce, Gainsight
* Experience selling to schools and districts.Knowledge of the esports industry and its potential in education.
* A network of contacts within the education sector.
